Elaine Marie Roberts

Roberts, Elaine Marie (Sis Bliss) 82 passed away January 7, 2016 in the South Shore Regional Hospital Bridgewater. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Pye) Bliss. Elaine was employed with F.W. Woolworth’ s and later with the Federal Government. She was quite a dancer in her early years. Elaine was an active member of Trinity Anglican Church. She also volunteered with Missions to Seafarers. She is survived by brothers Donald, Kenneth, and William, sister Margaret Oakley, Harold’s daughter Carol Ann Landry and family as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Harold, brother Edward Bliss, sisters Annie Bliss and Alice Bliss. Visitation will be held 2-4, 6-8, today Monday January 11, 2016 in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. Halifax. Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday January 12, 2016 in Trinity Anglican Church Halifax. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Anglican Church; 321 Main Ave. Halifax, NS B3S 0B5.
