Elizabeth B. Hutchinson

December 20th 1949-September 24th 2010.

My name is Elizabeth Hutchinson and I left this life early in the morning of September 24th, 2010, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Please know that I passed away counting my blessings surrounded by my family’s love. I began life in Halifax in 1949. I worked at the Credit Union where I met two of my best friends Cheryl Konning and Diana Kulanek-Lacey. I loved to take care of children at lunch and after school. I grieve to leave my loving husband, James Hutchinson, my magnificent daughter, Jennifer Hutchinson and two adorable grandchildren Tori and Jacob Guy. They were my angels, my reason to live and they know I will be with them always. Left behind as well are my dear sisters, Crystal MacPhail and Joanne Vogt and nieces Shelley Legault (daughters Chelsea and Alyssa) and Jacqueline Vogt. It is sad to leave behind their families: my in-laws, Gary MacPhail, Brian McKenzie, Drew Legault, Nathan Guy, Suzanne, Ryan, Andra and Conor Adams, Isabel (Burke) and Frank Kehoe and Janice and Al Stuthard. I will also deeply miss my friends, especially those living in Westmount community. But I will now be once again united with my beloved parents, Hazel Marie (deceased May 1983) and Harold Everett Leadley (deceased May 2009). I am sorry to leave, but I had a complete and charmed life – one that I departed counting the innumerable blessings of a wonderful husband and daughter, a loving family, dear friends and neighbours. May everyone be so blessed! Visitation will be held on Sunday September 26th and Monday September 27th, from 2-4 and 7-9, at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Funeral service will be held 10am Tuesday September 28th , at St. Agnes Church. Burial to take place at Fairview Lawn Cemetery.
