

Fraser, Evelyn Jean (Kelley) passed away on Tuesday February 13, 2018, at Parkstone Enhanced Care. Born in Bridgewater, October 3, 1923, she was the youngest daughter of the late Rex B. Kelley (1958) and Villa S. (Nicol, 1973). She was the last remaining member of her immediate family. She grew up in Bridgewater and attended the schools there. She worked at the Canadian Bank of Commerce a few years and then in 1945, moved to Halifax, where she worked at Acadian Lines until 1948.
She is survived by her nieces, Marilyn Goodwin, Penny Annand, Anita Chambers (Bob), Judy Chambers (John) and nephew, Richard Shirley. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur H. Fraser (2007); sisters, Ruth C. Kelley (1988) and Mary E. Shirley (1966); infant brother, Reginal Kelley, and nephews, John D. Chambers and Robert W. Chambers Jr.
She enjoyed motor trips with her husband in her younger days. She enjoyed two trips west with her husband Arthur and also for 25 years vacationed in Florida and South Carolina.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday February 21 at 1:30 pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Burial will be in Fairview Lawn Cemetery.
