He began his ministry at West Bay Pastoral Church, Inverness, Guysborough. One of Fred’s proudest accomplishments was founding a new church that was not much more than a trailer, in Wasaga Beach Ontario, which eventually grew into the largest United Church in the Province.
Fred’s passions outside of his ministry, included hockey and tennis, working out at the gym, and a nice steak dinner. He was a prolific reader, a talented musician, an eloquent speaker, and a wonderful counsellor.
