Gaston Bourgeois

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Bourgeois (neé Hart) and their three sons, Trevor Andrew, Mark Benjamin, and Christopher Matthew. Gaston will be fondly remembered by his daughter-in-law Allison and three grandsons Jeremy, Evan and Nathan.

He is survived by his three brothers, Gabriel, Germain, Freddie, and his sister Corrine. He was predeceased by his two sisters Lisette and Darice, and his parents Paulite and Antoinette Bourgeois.

Gaston dedicated nearly 50 years of his life to Armour Group Limited and the McCrea Family where he was known for his unwavering work ethic, dedication and commitment. Outside of work, he found joy in the great outdoors of Parrsboro, Miramichi and Cheticamp, spending his free time hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.

Gaston was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, embodying the spirit of generosity and community.

A Celebration of Life will be held at JA Snow Funeral Home on Lacewood Drive, Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Monday, September 16, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the Cobequid Hospital in Lower Sackville or Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Halifax.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
