George is survived by his partner, Kathy Harnish and her children Aaron White (Ashley) and Karryann Jewers (Allen); sisters, Helen Chisholm (Duncan) and Sheila Dorey (Brian). Also, several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews, with particular mention of nephew, Gregory Harnish with whom he had a special relationship.
He was predeceased by brothers Allan and Ralph and sister Barbara Dauphinee.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.A.Snow Funeral Home. In keeping with George's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
The family acknowledges and is grateful for the care and compassion George received from his caregivers, Ashley Evans, Rosemarie Evans and Josephine Ernst also thanks to the QE11 hospital staff over the past couple of years.
