

Crozier, Gertrude (Trudi) Catherine died peacefully in the QEII Hospital, Halifax, surrounded by family members on June 9, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Margaret (MacKinnon) and John (Jack) McInnis and the wife of the late Lloyd Crozier. She was born in New Annan, PEI on July 28, 1917, lived in Halifax for 60 years and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by daughters Marion Crane (late Byron), Sheila DeCoste; sons Barry (Gail), Wayne (Betty) ; grandchildren Barry, Mark (Heather), Debbie (Leo), Edward (Linda), Mariann, Jason (Donna), Vicki (Ben), Ryan; great grandchildren Shauna, Elias, Emmett, Sandi, Raven, Troy, Matthew, Melissa (Kenny), Arlo; great great grandchildren Kobe, Karter, and Jaden.
She is also survived by sister-in-law Velda McInnis, brother-in-law Arthur Veinot, daughter-in-law Ghislaine as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mom was predeceased by a son Garth, a daughter Kathryn Ruth in infancy; sisters Rita McInnis, Eleanor Gallant, Theresa Lambe, Lorraine Mill, Georgie Veinot and by brother Allison and half-sisters Eileen MacWilliams, Margaret Tanton and half-brothers Cedric and Bernard McInnis.
Mom was a homemaker for many years and later worked for the Halifax School Board. Mom was a friend to many and she will be missed by those whose lives she touched.
There will be a visitation for Trudi on Friday June 14th from 7-9 pm with a funeral service on Saturday, June 15th at 1 pm both at J. A. Snow Funeral Home, Halifax. Private family interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville after reception. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation and Canadian Cancer Society. Family flowers only.
