Gwendoline Edna Gregory

It is with great sadness that the family of Gwen Gregory of Elmsdale, NS, formerly of Byley, Cheshire, UK, announces her brave passing on March 5, 2016 in the QE II Health Centre, Halifax.

Much loved by family and friends here and in England. She leaves behind beloved husband George, son, David (Michelle) Gregory, daughter, Allison (Tom)Sanderson, foster son, Jonathan Lea (UK), beloved grandchildren, Kate, Alice, Nicholas, Emma, Ben, Laura and Chelsea and great granddaughter, Akula, brother, Les (Phyllis) Potts, UK and Colin (Barbara) Potts, UK, sisters, Freda Baker, BC and Ellen Anne (Ray) Jackson, UK and sister-in-law, Joyce Potts, UK.

Predeceased by son, John, UK , brother, Alan Potts, UK, and brother-in law, Roy Baker, BC.

Many happy times were spent with friends both here in her beloved Canada and England. The family would like to express our deep gratitude to Dr. Goth and the staff at the QEII, 8.4 and to Gwen’s other family, home care workers and VON. Arrangements are in the care of JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. Hfx(B3S 0E1) where a Memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, March 9 from 1-3 pm.
