Swindells, Harold Frederick, passed away at home Monday, October 10th, 2022 at the age of 85. Harold is survived by his son Gregory, son-in-law Brian King, grandson Declan Iain King and sister-in-law Patricia Whitman (David Lemon). Harold was predeceased by his wife Irene in July of this year and their daughter Karen-Michael King in September 2008.
Harold’s life was full of people….as Manager of The Cove Grocery, Birch Cove followed by Suburban Hardware in Rockingham and with Irene, he had a successful career with Remax Real Estate. He was a member of the Rockingham Volunteer Fire Department, a founding member of Maskwa Aquatic Club and a member of the Nova Scotia Progressive Conservative Party.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Snows Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. Halifax on Wednesday October 19, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Private burial at a later date. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice.
