

She was a daughter of the late Calvin and Mary Jane Wood (of Cross Roads, P.E.I.). She is survived by son, Robert and his wife, Debbie; and grandchildren, Alicia (Martin Giroux) St. Sauveur, Que.; Jana (Joel Neynens), Halifax; Michael, Vancouver, B.C.; Sarah (Clement Guigou), Aix-en-Provence, France.
She was predeceased by husband, Rev. E.B.S. Miller and son, Ian. Also by brothers, Parker (Pansy), Preston (Lona); sisters, Hazel MacEwan (Ray), Myra MacIntosh (Clyde) as well as a number of nieces and nephews. She attended the local school at Cross Roads, P.E.I. and Price of Wales College, Charlottetown.
She was employed with the government of Prince Edward Island as Registrar of Vital Statistics. She was an active member of Trinity United Church, Charlottetown. After her marriage she lived in many places including St. Peter’s Bay, P.E.I., Toronto, Ont., Antigonish, Lunenburg, Sydney, and Halifax.
A memorial service will be held in St. Andrew’s United Church, Coburg Road, Halifax with reception to follow on Saturday, February 6th, at 10:30 a.m. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew’s United church or a charity of your choice.
