Dad,

I just wanted to tell you that your service was beautiful! Full of flowers, family and friends!

Dad, i miss you so much, and still cant believe that your not here... Im so glad that we had lots of time together, 47 years actually! I have learned so much from you, every chapter in my life, you always had great advice for me and i usually took all of it! 
But most of all, im so glad you were living at home with us and being a awesome grandfather to Jonathan and Nicole, an awesome father-in-law to Ann, and most of all just being you, my Dad and Best Friend and always having that shoulder available if any of us needed to use it....

We now have you at home again, and wherever we go you will always be with us forever!

I already feel like you are watching over us, i can feel your energy and im pretty sure you are still giving my that advice i need.... 

I love you and miss you so much Dad!
Always remember your were not just my Dad, but you were truly my very Best Friend!!!!!

I was saddened to learn of the passing of your Dad. In reflection I must offer that they don't make men like him very often. The world would be a much better place if they did. He was a rarity and I fondly remember his good heart and happy spirit. I recall his quick whit and sense of humor. You are fortunate to have had such a man for a father. I know he is proud of you both. RIP Mr. Germain.

Miss you so much gramps. I know I said I'm my speech how proud of you I am and how an inspiration you are. Thank you for being an amazing person and one of my best friends. Today was the day gramps, the day that you lay at rest. You looked handsome like you always do. I hope you like the letters I wrote you. I felt you with me as I was writting them. I know you're looking down on me and I know you're here with me. I'm so proud to be you're granddaughter and so proud to have you as my grandfather. Okay Gramps, Today is the day. Today is the day we say our final goodbyes and lay you to rest. I know you are here with us as when I was writing my letter to you to take i felt your presence. Im here for my children and grandchildren in this most difficult time for them,lots of memories,lots of love to them all! Cannot take life for granted!! RIP JACK

Ah man, the one thing I wish I could do is be there. Give Gramps his perfect send off. I know for a fact that his kids and grand kids are going to do just that. My mother has a terrible memory and she was still able to remember Jack the second I mentioned him. I'll miss you sir, you absolute gentleman. When you guys give him his send off, know that my mind will be right there with you. Love you all, especially you Jack.

Dad, it all started 32 years ago when Scott introduced me to you. From that moment on, you took me in as one of your own. In these 32 years you taught me how to fight when things got tough and how to get back up and I thank you for that.  You are an amazing Person, amazing Father  and we're you ever an amazing Grandfather. The bond between you, Jonathan and Nicole "PRICELESS"

I will miss our casino dates as you always looked forward to that and so did I.
Dad, I can keep going on and on about the person you are but everyone already knows that. 
It's going to be hard not having you around but will get easier knowing that you will be looking down on us and watching us from above.

Scott, Ann, Jonny, Nicole ... Paul and I and Jen (our fur child) will miss talking to Jack every day on his way to and from the mailbox.  We certainly enjoyed hearing about the events of his life and his knowledge of nearly every topic.  Everything was sprinkled with humour and a twinkle in his eyes. Jack was a wonderful man..... From being a child and always being inseparable with Nicole; I was around Jack my whole life. I have many fond memories of taking day trips with him, Nicole, and myself, or even mornings he spent talking with us, and preparing a breakfast of champions.... even when we detested as we weren't very hungry. 
His spirit lit up a room, and he could converse like no other. Jack was hilarious, genuine and always dressed to the 9's. He was a man full of life, philosophy, lessons and love. I will also miss his curry rice and chicken and his story telling. He was not just my cousins' grandfather... He was part of my aunts side of the family as well. He will be greatly missed by everybody.

Uncle Scott, Todd, Aunty Ann, Jonny, Nicole & Jess you have my sincerest condolences. I love you all so much. Jack will be present at every single milestone, and day-to-day events. The love he had for you all is mountain moving, and eternal.

As the day comes closer to where we say our final goodbyes it just goes to show me how valuable you really were gramps. Just letting you know that I have so many people sending their condolences as you were the one that made an impact on their lives. Tomorrow is going to be the Second worst day of my life saying goodbye, but i know this isnt goodbye but only a new beginning. I know you will forever be here with us and laugh and smile with us. Gramps I really really miss you and love you with all my heart. Thank you so much for staying  "Germain Strong" until we got to the hospital. Although it was my our final moments on earth together doesnt mean that it is our final moments at all.I walk by your room and still hear your voice and still see your face. It means the world to me knowing you made that promise to me saying you will always be here for us and will be my kids guardian Angel. I 100% you will and i could not be more thankful. Again Gramps I Love you so very much, you were my Best friend and our families rock. I will say a few words tomorrow but it wont be easy. Love you Gramps. Just want to send our love and thoughts to you all during this difficult time. Danny and I have many fond memories of Jack over the years, including the infamous trip to the mountains in Jamaica! Always greeted us with a smile and a hug. My girls still talk about the time Grampa Jack took them to the waterfront climbing cliffs and sharing adventures with Jonny and Nicole. I'm sure he will be just as loved by all who come to know him in the second chapter of his life. 
Stay strong and know that we are there with you tomorrow in spirit. Love you all!!

Hey Gramps, I know you're reading this. I'm currently writting this while I sit on your bed. I love you and miss you more and more each second. Wynter misses you aswell and still waits by your door to let her out and misses your love. It's so hard knowning you passed but it eases my mind knowing you went peacefully and did not suffer once. Thank you for being the strong man you are and holding on until the rest of the family got to the hospital. You were always the smile on my face and always making jokes. You even made jokes until the very last moment.  I know you're not visible to us but we can all feel you here. You're the best grandfather I could ever ask for. I light this candle to let you know that Jesus Christ is with you and I also know how much you love your candles.  I love you to the moon and back Gramps, your granddaughter, your blue eyed blonde, Nicole.

Hey Gramps, I know as I type this you are reading it and are trying to tell me to stay strong and you will never leave my side. I am writing this because of how strong you fought for us especially waiting for us to get to the hospital. You were such an inspiration and a phenomenal Grandpa. Words can't express the gratitude I have for you and the pain I am feeling as I am missing one of my Best Friends. Dad, I know you are resting peacfully now, and I feel your presence all around me! There is NOT a chapter in my life that does not have you in it! You have been my greatest inspiration and role model!  I have always looked up to you! When you told me how proud you were, on how I always put my Wife and Children first before all my needs and how that was a very great feature about me... I just wanted you to know that I learned everything in life, that has made me the Husband, Father and Brother that I am today ALL FROM YOU DAD!!!!
