James Stanley Hall

The family of James Hall sadly announces his passing at Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax on Saturday, November 7th, 2020 at the age of 95. James was born in Saint John, New Brunswick on August 4th, 1925. He was predeceased by his wife Norma on October 31, 2005 after 63 years of marriage. James is survived by four generations of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brother George Hall and sister Lucy Summerfield. James was a Navy man from the day he enlisted until the end. He was always interested in what was new and technology always fascinated him. James’ pride and joy was his family. He will be lovingly remembered by all for his gracious personality and his welcoming interest in all who stopped by. He was glad see new faces and was always prepared to add another plate at the dinner table or chair to the card game when anyone arrived.

There will be a private memorial for family members at 11:30 Friday, November 13 at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902) 455-0531. Flowers are gratefully declined.
