He was born in Halifax on October 5, 1933.

Dad was an avid sports enthusiast and could be seen at many sporting events. He refereed basketball for many years and also coached little league baseball and minor basketball. He was a volunteer for many major events in Halifax, including the World Junior Hockey and the TallShips etc. He would always know someone no matter where he went. He loved meeting new people and always had a story to tell. He loved fishing and had many great trips up to the fishing camp in Jeddore. Oh the Stories! It was no Taj Mahal!
He is survived by his son Michael (Tracey) and daughters Michele (Paula) and Susan. Also survived by Grandsons, Andrew and Jordan who he was so proud of. They loved spending time with their “Pop”. Big Dog! We will all miss you.
