Jean "Jennie" Crilley (nee Myatt ) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Parkstone Enhanced Care in Halifax. Jennie was born in West Chezzetcook, on April 8, 1932, to the late Alice and Fred Myatt.
A woman of deep commitment to her family and the Catholic church, Jennie devoted herself to those pursuits. She was the ultimate role model for all those whose lives she touched, be it as a babysitter for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, a friend, or a confidant, she took on each role with a great sense of kindness and understanding. Her passion for life and caring for others is what will always remain with those of us who were blessed to be part of her legacy.
Jennie is survived by her loving husband, Bernie, and her children Dwayne, Lerenda, Ken (Shirley), Cordell (Sandy), Leland (Josephine) and Sheena (Roger) along with 15 grandchildren, Jeremy, Amanda and Matthew Ringuette, Robyn Deimuth, Jason Deck, Myles and Aaron Deck, Josh, Craig and Tyler Deck, Nick, Jacob and Samantha Graves, Kevin and Kenneth Chica and 13 great grandchildren; sister, Patricia (Douglas) LaPierre; brothers, Joseph Myatt, Jerome (Joan) Myatt and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Joe Donovan; daughter-in-law, Olga Deck; sister Margaret Julien; brothers, Art, Bert, Reg and Bill Myatt
