It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffery Andrew Fader, age 37 of Harrietsfield who died unexpectedly July 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Halifax, NS, Jeff is survived by his wife, Pamela, together for fifteen years, married for six. They have two children Dylan and Jack and a beloved dog, Duke. He was the son of Bruce and Deborah Fader and brother to Matthew (Aine) and Neil (Amy), grandson to Marion and George Fader and predeceased by grandparents Edith Hencher and Stanley Simpson. He is also survived by many other loving family members including many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and in-laws. Jeff was also fortunate enough to be surrounded by an abundance of very close friends whom he considered as family.
Jeff was a devoted family man, proud husband, father and loving son. He was an avid fly fisherman, loyal conservation angler and respectful of nature. He was a kind and generous man who gave without taking and asked for very little in return. He was a respected tradesman and co-worker who was well liked by all who had interacted with him. He graduated from JL Ilsley High School in 1999 and from NSCC in 2004. He was a plumber and possessed a highly sought after Red Seal Qualification. Prior to joining FMF CS, he had also worked for Black & MacDonald and Pace Plumbing & Heating Ltd. Throughout his career he was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 56 Union.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 15 at JA Snow Funeral Home starting at 1pm, with service at 2pm and reception to follow.
