TREWIN, Jennie “Jan” – 88, of Halifax, N.S. passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Shannex Maplestone. Born in Littlehampton, Sussex, England, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chant.
Jan was a War Bride, worked many years with Canada Post, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Fairview Branch #142.
She is survived by her two daughters Patricia Bethel and Debra Trewin of Nassau, Bahamas, three grand-children, and several nieces and nephews.
Jan is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Edward Trewin.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax on Friday, October 8th at 11 a.m., Rev.
