Very sad to hear of Jack's death. He was such a wonderful business and community person. He helped the Brookside community prosper by his continuous support to numerous  events and his help to many of our youth who worked in his store. We  have fond memories of him and his family. Our  condolences to all the family.

Dear Bride, Tracy, Brian, and Family.  So sorry to hear of Jack's passing.  Too many memories but one that will always stand out was that Jack would always take time out of his busy day to have a good chat.  I will always remember and cherrish those conversations.

Dear Bride, Tracey, Brian, Ed and Family,

I moved out of Hatchet Lake a number of years ago, but will always consider Hatchet Lake home. My heart is heavy to hear of Jack's passing. I'm sure everyone in the community is feeling great sorrow.  My sister (Darlene White) worked for Jack and Ed for a number of years and thought of them as family.  I think they were like family to a great many of the young people who stepped across the threshold of Holt's to earn a few bucks while going to school.  The entire family is well-liked and well-respected.  Along with Jack's loved ones, we all deeply feel this loss.

To Bridey, Brian and Tracey - so very sorry to hear of Jack's passing.  I haven't lived in Brookside for almost 27 years now but remember many, many trips to Holt's Takeout for pizza.  Our kids grew up together and we saw you at many school events and recreation events over the years.  I know Jack will be sorely missed by his family and the community. So sorry to hear of your loss. Jack was an amazing person, and I always enjoyed going to Holt's Take Out for MANY years! He will truly be missed in the community, and when I drive past, I think of all of the times I have gone in and talked to everyone, hung around outside, walked over at lunch from the Jr High, and of course ordering the BEST pizza around!!

Dear Tracey and the rest of the Holt family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I remember how close your family was and continues to be, and I can't imagine how difficult this time is for you all. I have so many great memories of your family, and of hanging out at Holt's takeout when we were younger. On each occasion that I happen to drive by I think of those times and it makes me smile. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss.
