Williamswood NS, on June 23rd 2025.
Jordan was the beloved son of Orlando Lace of Williamswood and Carolyn Gray (Gary) of Greenwood. Who each had a very special place in his life.
To know Jordan was to love him. His smile could light up a room especially with those unforgettable baby blue eyes. He had a heart full of love and kindness, his love for his family and friends radiated off of him. Jordan was the Operations Superintendent of Irving Equipment Ltd, Dartmouth NS. Where he was known and respected for his dedication, work ethic and leadership. He was a natural leader and this showed in his work life. Prior to that, he proudly ran mobile crane as a Red Seal Crane Operator throughout Nova Scotia, Alberta, Louisiana and many more locations. His love for Cranes and Heavy Equipment was evident and many of his co-workers were like family to him.
In Jordans free time he enjoyed being around friends and family. Creating many projects around the house or going for buggy rides with his buddies and Harper. He also enjoyed working on and riding around in his convertible Honda S2000 and Polaris RZR side-by-side. He loved movie marathons (Marvel especially) and video games. He truly was a big kid at heart. His contagious laughter will be so missed.
Jordan leaves behind his life partner and “person” Maggie Wilson. The life they built together was full of love, laughter and light. “I'll stay young for the rest of my life with you” (quote from Jordan and Maggie's favourite song together).
Together they share a daughter Harper Rayne Lace age 6. Jordan was a proud and devoted father to Harper, the light of his life. She brought out the gentilist, most joyful parts of him. Their bond was truly special. He was our hero, protector and biggest fan.
Jordan also leaves behind his sister Michelle Warner (Scott) of Waverly and brother Michael Beaton of Portuguese Cove. Nephews Dylan Beaton and Lindin Lefort. As well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He had many honorary nieces and nephews that will miss their “Uncle Lace”. He is lovingly remembered by his community and friendships throughout.
Jordan was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Arthur and Maizie Gray of Sambro. Paternal Grandparents Capt. Orlando and Marguerite Lace of Lunenburg. Uncles Blair Gray of Sambro and Leslie Lace of Lunenburg.
A Celebration of Jordan's life will be held on Friday, July 25th at the Cedar Event Centre-111 Clayton Park Drive Halifax, at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
As Jordan would say “Well… I’ll be talking to ya!”
