Worrell, Joseph Robert, of Halifax, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away September 5th, 2016, peacefully at Camp Hill Veteran’s Memorial surrounded by family. Born in Dartmouth, he was the son of the late Claire and Alfred Worrell of Dartmouth. He was a long time member of Eastern Star Lodge Number 51. He worked over 30 years at the Imperial Oil Refinery in Dartmouth.
He is predeceased by his long time wife, Doris, of 63 years.
He is survived by his son, David, his daughters, Janet Brown (Howard) and Karen Sears, all of Halifax; grandchildren Jennifer (Tom) of Halifax, Robert (Siohan) of Calgary, Matthew of Halifax, and Shannon of Halifax; greatgrandchildren Ella, Carter, and Brody.
As per his wishes, there will be no service, but a quiet family celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Hill Veteran’s Memorial.
