Juliette Lee Nicholson

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of our dear sister Juliette Nicholson in the Halifax Infirmary on August 30th 2019. Born in Mahone Bay, NS., she was the daughter of the late Leo Paul and Daisy Dufour.

She is survived by her son Michael, brothers Jules (Fran) Dufour, Wayne (lizette) Dufour, Claude (Patti) Dufour, Danny (Susan) Dufour, sisters Bernadette (Miller) Szeto, Yvette (Dean) ex-husband (Alex Stuart) and 12 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.

Juliette was predeceased by her husband Charles (Buzzy) Nicholson and her brother-in-law Tim Nicholson. Juliette was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie, and friend she always cared for everyone especially her second family, the Grays who she worked for over 40 years Dr. Michael Gray, Dr. Jean Gray and their (her) daughters Jenny and Meghan.

A special thank you to the staff on 3C Northwood Nursing home for taking such good care of our sister for four years. A Celebration of Life will be held for Juliette at Northwood Nursing Home in the Penthouse Suite 2615 Northwood Terrance, Halifax on September 22, 2019, from 2:30 – 4:00.
