Kara Ann Mary Purcell

Kara Purcell aka “KaraBear”, Age 24 of Halifax Nova Scotia pass away suddenly on August 6th, 2024. She was the daughter of Shawna Purcell and Michael Connors (Angie) and had one sister Calie. Grand daughter of Judy Laws-Purcell (Terry), Paula MacInnis (Paul) and Mike Martell (Christine).

Kara was a social butterfly, she loved being with her friends and family. She enjoyed cooking and listening to music. Kara loved anything related to esthetics and from a very young age she insisted that her nails and hair needed to be perfect at all times. Kara was a free spirit who lived her short life to the fullest. She was the embodiment of “YOLO, Music, Friends and Laughter”.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her including all of her Aunts, Uncles starting with Caitlin (Jason) & Avon, Michael (Jacklyn) & Maddie, Nathan and uncle Ryan in addition to a large extended family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a circle of very close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the YMCA Halifax.

Visitation will be held Sunday August 11th from 2-4pm for family only and her final send off will be held Tuesday August 13th at 10am for family only and as per the family’s request.
