BEAVER, Kathleen Mary, 83 of Halifax, passed away August 31, 2021 at the Melville Lodge Nursing Home. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Kathleen and Lawrence Slaunwhite of Halifax. She worked outside of the home but was a fulltime wife and mother. Her life was her children and grandchildren.
Survived by daughters Beverley Currie and Heather Beaver; sons Greg (Wendy), Stephen (Debbie) and daughter in law Cheryl Beaver; brother, Lawrence (Chris); eleven grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents; husband Russell; son Darrell; sisters Alice Quirback and Lola Davidge, both of Ontario; brothers Harold of Halifax and Arnold of Lower Sackville.
Graveside service Wednesday September 8 at 10am in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Sackville. Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Cancer Society.
She was loved dearly by her family and we will greatly miss our drives, our talks and our ice cream cones.
