At Phonse’s request, cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held in Corner Brook in the early summer of 2024 and Phonse will be laid to rest in Mount Patricia Cemetery.
Phonse would like to thank the caregivers at Aberdeen Hall in Parkland and his doctor, Sophie Couture, for their kindness throughout his illness.
Phonse was a teacher for over 27 years in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. He felt very fortunate to have taught the wonderful students of Regina and Presentation High Schools. If you didn’t think he was a nice guy, then it’s too late now!
