I am so very sorry & saddened to hear of Linda’s passing. She was such a lovely person & will be missed hugely, I know. Mum & Dad (Miz & Graydon Cox) felt very close to your family. They talked so fondly of Linda & their many social get togethers.

I received a lovely note from Linda recently when she was in the hospital. I will treasure it.

My deepest sympathies to all the family. Thinking of you so very much & sending my love & hugs.

Like for many others, my loss at losing Linda is profound.
She and I became next-door neighbors in Kentville and best friends in 1967.
Side by side, the two of us traversed childhood, puberty and young adulthood. We kept an eye out for and anchored each other.
Linda embodied empathy, integrity, discipline and modesty. Stoic and uncomplaining, despite these difficult past few years of illness, she remained focused on others.
The closeness to her adored family, many friends and colleagues sustained her.
My thoughts go out to Joanne, Susan and the Cleyle family in their grief.
I know that Linda's memory and continued presence will accompany us life-long.

Dear Joanne and Susan,
Please accept my sincere condolences upon the loss of your sister Linda.
I was privileged to know all of you through your aunts Mary and Theresa.
Time shared together at South Park Street, Church Street and Marvin's Island was special. The Cleyle hospitality knew no bounds. Warmed by so many precious memories, you are in my thoughts and prayers,
with love,
Joan.

Last week we had to say goodbye to our much loved friend . From hanging onto the boards at the old Kentville arena learning to skate , school days at KCA , university at Dalhousie , the annual trips to Marvins Island , a lifetime of friendship with such an intelligent , curious , ( very curious ! ) and most of all , funloving companion .

Linda was an insightful personality , I'm sure this was a big part of her success in university and her working life at Siemans . More importantly for me , a valuable asset in a friend ! However , if there was medicine to dispense she always made it go down " with a spoonful of sugar " which was that wonderful , dry , sense of humour . A true and loyal friend , I will miss her more than I can say .

I was very sorry to learn of Linda's passing. We were classmates at the Dalhousie University School of Public Administration. I remember her smile and sense of humour. She was very proud of her family and her heritage. I remember the store in Kentville where my parents shopped. May she rest in peace.

I am very saddened by the passing of Linda, I worked with her about 10 years ago, we kept in touch through email for several years after, mostly chatting about the current season of the Amazing Race. She was a wonderful person. Prayers and Hugs to her family.
