Lionel lived many years in Toronto, returning to his birthplace, Halifax, when he retired.
Lionel was a lover of antiques and enjoyed going to antique sales, garage sales and flea markets. He had a great collection of John Wayne memorabilia and he treasured his Eagle collection. He was always ready to give a helping hand to those in need.
Survived by his wife of 30 years, Eva Crocker, and sister, Gertrude. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at William Black Memorial United Church of Glen Margaret Cemetery.
