WALKER, Mary "Elizabeth" — 86, of Halifax. Born in Bedford on March 9, 1924, Elizabeth, the only child of the late Harry and Mary Anne (Lal) Walker, passed away April 17, 2010, in the VG Site, QEII. She spent her early days in Bedford, before moving to Halifax. She was educated at Mount Saint Vincent and following graduation she was employed at Hebb Insurance and Dale & Co Insurance. Elizabeth enjoyed time spent with her many friends and her visits to her beloved cottage in Porter's Lake. She leaves to mourn her loving cousin, Connie Camp and close relatives and friends in Nova Scotia and Ontario. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax. A mass will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 21, in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Halifax. Reception to follow in the hall.
