HANLON, MADELINE MARIE It is with profound sadness Madeline’s family announces her passing on May 30th, 2020. She was born December 18th, 1991 in Kitchener, Ontario to her proud parents Ronald and Greta (Algee) Hanlon.
Madeline was a graduate of Rockford High School in Rockford, Minnesota and gold medalist in the Minneapolis Special Olympics. Madeline touched the hearts of many in the numerous places she lived – Waterloo, Ontario; Waynesboro, Virginia; Loretto, Minnesota; and Halifax, Nova Scotia. She saw North America from the car window of many family road trips.
Madeline was considered a special teacher who passed on the true meaning of love, faith, and kindness.
Madeline left behind her loving mother, Greta (Algee) Hanlon; adoring siblings Leo (Courtney), Katie (Robert) and Sean (Jill). She was blessed with a loving niece, Maddie Newcombe; nephews, Ronnie and Eli Hanlon; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Madeline was predeceased by her beloved dad, Ronald Michael Hanlon, grandparents Ronald and Minnie Algee and Ronald and Joy Hanlon.
