She was the daughter of the late Stella Greig (Copp) and William S. Greig.
Margaret is survived by her husband Donald L. Beatty; two daughters Laura (Alan) and Barbara Silvester (Richard); two sons Paul Beatty and Michael Beatty (Sue Burton); ten grandchildren: Melanie, Teagh, Caelan, Strahan, Adaire, Drew (Kelly), Ryan, Derek (Adelina), Greig and Emily and one great-grandchild Kii’in. She was predeceased by her sister Jean Greig.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax, (902) 455-0531. At Margaret’s request, there will be no services.
