Dear Elmer and Family:

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of Peggy. I had missed the obituary and didn't know about it until Barbara Shea told me yesterday.

From time to time I used to see Peggy at the Waeg. She was always so friendly and easy to talk with.

May you get through this very difficult period in your life and to come to the point where you will cherish the many fond memories you must have built up after your life together.

All the best,

Shirley Vaughan

Dear Elmer,

May I extend to you and your family my deepest sympathy at this sad time. I hope you will find some consolation in the knowledge of your loyal attentiveness during Peggy's last illness. You were a very good husband to a wonderful woman.

I very much regret that I am not in the city and unable to attend Peggy's funeral.

Dear Shauna,

I was very sorry to hear about your Mom. Being surrounded by the love and memories of your family is all that matters in the end. Know that she was at peace when she took her journey. And your Dad -- what a caring and special husband and friend he was to your Mom. As difficult as it was to watch your Mom's health decline, you knew that she was safe and well cared for. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dearest Uncle Elmer, Anne Marie, Shauna and Aunt Frances:
My heart is breaking as I remember all the wonderful times we have shared .
I remember moving into 6382 London and being treated as one of her girls by Aunt Peggy. She always made us, and there were a lot of us, feel welcome and loved. I will miss her with all my heart. I pray that she has been forever re-united with Mom & Dad and Aunt Mary and I wait until we will all be together again in Heaven.
With all my love and prayers,
Theresa and family
