All of you children & grandkids must mix Rita so much. I have so many lovely memories of her  always knew I could count on her words of wisdom & down to eart advice! I hope she’s reunited with everyone up there & still there for us, RIP dear  cousin, Rita!

Sincere condolences for the loss of Rita. We just found out and regret we were not there for the funeral mass. Warm memories of an amazing neighbour, a beautiful example of a life well lived. Sacrificial love for her family and community. I will always cherish her sincere interest and encouragement for our family. Rita’s bright smile and dedication to her faith and the kindness she extended to so many are but a few more memories I cherish. RIP Rita, may the Perpetual light Shine upon you. Rita was always there, she accompanied me to my graduation and citizenship ceremony.  I’m so heart broken  for not been there to hold your hands to say goodbye. You will be missed! Until 1969  I lived on 36 Inverness Ave,   just two doors up from your parents home,  until our family moved away following our father’s death. My siblings and I attended school with some of you. I have many memories of your parents,  of you children and of your home. 

 I always remember your mother as a lady of style which in my youth  I attributed,  correctly or incorrectly, to her French heritage. She was a warm , caring person  of  faith. I had never known anyone named Rita and your mother made an early impression on me.  In fact, I chose Rita as my confirmation name because of  her - something I have never mentioned to anyone.

I knew Rita through Birthright. She was a wonderful Birthright volunteer and Regional Consultant for Birthright for Eastern Canada. Very kind, caring, and supportive. The Lord has called her home to live eternally in peace and joy. God bless.

I am sending my sincere sympathy to all of the family of dear Reta. she was a true Christian in every sense and so often while I was a member of St John the Baptist Parish I was amazed by her gentle acceptance and understanding of all who came her way. She had a wonderful, human sense of humour and was always compassion personified. She is certainly at peace now with her Lord and loved ones. She will always be in your hearts !

I was so sad to hear about your mom's passing. I always enjoyed hearing the stories you would tell me at work about your mom and dad. Especially the one about the tennis ball your dad put in the garage for your mom, when parking, it still makes me laugh :) When I lost my mom, Marian , you were there  with me every single day for my life's most difficult journey, there are simply no words. However, one thing that someone told me at that time was "Sometimes God calls our loved ones home to give them a rest". Those words comforted me so much along my journey, I pray they will comfort you also. I am sending you all so much love and hugs on your journey.  Your mom was a very special lady and I know you all have treasured memories to hold her in your hearts forever. Thinking of you.

Not sure how my prayers will get to heaven now with Rita gone because I could always be assured they would get there if I asked.RIP my friend.

It's been 32 yrs sense we first met. And gave good cause for me to get involved with helping young mothers.   Many times during those years she'd cry out for help for a yound mom. As a leader in prolife I was to reach tl supporters and she was ever so grateful  im sure I can be assured of prayers crom a place I hpoe to meet again
