

Anderson, Marjorie age 90 of Halifax Passed away peacefully on September 27, 2015 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax Infirmary Site. She was born in Halifax, on November 14, 1924 the daughter of the late Henry and Marjorie (Fisher) Power. Marjorie leaves her husband Clarence “ Andy “, brothers Harry Power Dartmouth, and Donald ( Reta)Power in Hawkesbury, Ontario as well as nieces Deborah Burke and Carolyn Widdup, and nephews Gregory Power and Alex Hartling, and many grand nieces and grand nephews. Marjorie‘s career was with the Canadian National Railway. She was a Faithful Choir Member of St. David’s Presbyterian Church. Marjorie spent many summer hours swimming at the Waegwaltic Club and was an accomplished artist who accepted praise with great modesty. Clarence and Marjorie had many wonderful trips to different parts of the world, summers at the RV in Kentville and down the eastern shore in Sherbrooke . She will be sadly missed by all family and friends. A celebration of Marjorie’s life will take place 10 am Thursday October 1, 2015 in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. Halifax. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marjorie’s memory to a charity of choice.
