

BOUDREAU, Sister Marrianne Therese, of Halifax, died October 31, 2011 at the Abbie Lane Hospital; it is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sr. Therese Boudreau, 86, sister of the Precious Blood. Born in Little River Harbour, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Alma (Fitzgerald) Boudreau. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was an active member of St. Michael’s Parish in Spryfield and was a choir member and member of the Chebucto choir. She made beautiful flower arrangements for the altar and enjoyed gardening planting flowers for the joy of all the residents of her building. She was always ready to help anyone in need; her generosity was felt by many. She is survived by sisters, Aimee Jennings, California, Catherine (Katie) Pothier, Halifax, Violet Boudreau, MA, Lillian O’Hearn, Pondville and Annette Pothier, Wedgeport; and many nieces and nephews; Therese was predeceased by sisters, Laura Newell, Ida Pothier, Elise MacIsaac, Hilda Doucette, Effie Muise, Charlotte Wardrope and Mary in infancy; brothers, Alfred, Henry, Renee, Joseph in infancy, and Louis Harris. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday, November 3, in St. Michael’s Church, 14 St. Michael’s Ave, Spryfield where the funeral service will take place Friday, November 4 at 11 am, Father Frank Pellerin officiating.
