We are so very sorry to hear of Mary's illness and sudden death. She was a very special person and we enjoyed knowing her for many years. What a treasure she was for the TC&WR miniature railway as she greeted every visitor every running day with her welcoming smile.

My sincere sympathy to all of Mary's family and friends. I had the pleasure of meeting Mary a number of times in my role with the QEII Foundation and very much enjoyed our conversations. I was particularly in awe of her volunteer commitments as well as the wonderful crafts she created. Thinking of you during this sad time.

To Mary's family and friends,
I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Mary for her kindness and generosity. She was a friend to many. Mary was a talented artisan who made many beautiful pieces of tatting, jewellery and knitting. She was generous in sharing her various craft projects with others. I know she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
