Mary Theresa Hazell

She was the last surviving member of her generation of the Byrne family. Born on November 30, 1930, she was the daughter of George and Mary Byrne. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Hazell, her parents, and siblings, Michael, Alice, Pat, Margaret and George. She is survived by her children and their families, Kathy Chaulk (Bill), Carolyn MacKenzie (Leo), Stephen Hazell (Nichole), and grandchildren, Mary Alison Comeau (Réal), Daniel MacKenzie (Brigitte Hartt), Joel MacKenzie, Becky Hazell and Ray Hazell, great-grandchildren, Emile and Elle Comeau and Celeste MacKenzie, along with many loved nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2-4 and 6-8 pm at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Paul Morris at St. Agnes Church, 6903 Mumford Road, Halifax on Thursday, May 24 at 10:00 am.
