Michelle was a great lover of animals and was involved in many dog rescues. She had a deep appreciation of nature, and especially loved her lush backyard. She was the author of several children’s books and was active in Big Sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael Allen Herman.
Cremation has already taken place. There will be no church service at Michelle’s request. An open house will be held at Michelle’s home at 44 Brackendale Lane, Beaverbank, NS on August 5, 2017 from l-4 pm to celebrate the life of Michelle.
