Muriel Eliza Wesley, 83, of Halifax, passed away at the QEII – VG Site, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, of cancer. She was born in 1930, to the late Arthur and Hannah Wesley. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Muriel is survived by daughters, Bonita Maisine (Brian), Maureen Martin (Wayne); daughter-in-law, Janet West; grandchildren, Brandy Maisine (Sean Grace), Matthew Maisine, Adam Martin (Jaclyn Berry), Stewart Martin (Wendy Walker), and Hayley Miller; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Madison Miller, Kyle Stewart-Tattrie, Matthew Delahunt; nephews, Arthur and Brian Wesley. Muriel was predeceased by her son, Howard Edward Miller. Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, and at Muriel’s request, there will be no service held. Muriel was devoted to her grandchildren and will be fondly remembered by family and friends.
