Norma Irene Walker

We regret to announce the death of Norma Irene Walker of Halifax which occurred on December 12, 2013 at the Abbey J Lane, QEII with her daughter by her side.

Norma was born in Halifax, the daughter of the late Thomas and Alma Boutilier.

She worked at Bolands for almost 20 years until physically unable.

Norma was an avid reader and loved watching a good mystery on TV with her favorite companion “Bobo.”

Norma is survived by her daughter, Linda Lawlor (Jack) Halifax; sons, Thomas (Dianne), Dartmouth and Timothy, Dartmouth.

She also has 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Wayne Albert Walker; brothers Breton (Alvina), Hector, and sister Marina (Garfield) and her favorite son-in-law Jack.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 1 – 3 pm in JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, immediately followed by Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3:00 pm with her grandson Pastor Scott Carroll officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
