Patricia Slaunwhite

Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Bryden and Sylvia (Sweet) Slaunwhite.

In her younger years she enjoyed playing the piano, singing in the choir and soloing, as well as enjoyed knitting and crocheting in her later years.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Jim West, of Timberlea, daughter, Sherry Sherret-Robinson, Trenton, Ont., and son, James Gavin Sherret (Elizabeth) Dartmouth, NS, sisters Freda Innes (Bob), Deanna Smith (Harry) and brother Randy Slaunwhite, and numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia was grandmother to Austin, Madison and Paige, all of Trenton, Ontario.

She is predeceased by her parents, younger brother Glen and her angel grandson, Joshua.

Visitation will be held at J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 1-2 pm with funeral service at 2:00 pm, followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
