
Age 69, of Halifax passed away August 11, 2013 after an extended illness. Paul was born in Toronto, moved to Halifax in 1969 to marry his wife, Shirley of 44 years. Paul was an active volunteer in many organizations including the Boy Scouts, Preston area Housing Fund and the Province House Credit Union. Paul enjoyed music, working on the family cottage, camping and most of all spending time with his family. Upon retiring from the Province of Nova Scotia, he went to work fulltime in a business started by his two sons. Paul worked with his sons for many years, and was a friendly, familiar face to many. Known for his quick wit and ready smile, Paul was a constant source of entertainment – puns and other wordplay were a specialty. Paul is survived by his loving wife Shirley and two sons, Mark (Tabitha) and Michael (Vanessa) and four granddaughters, Samantha, Allison, Violet and Eve of Halifax.
