
VINCENT, PETER GARTH – 54, of Halifax, passed away on June 9, 2012 at the VG Site of the QEII. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Chandler (Channie) and the late Eric Vincent. Peter was an employee of Dora Construction, applying his trade as a carpenter on many projects, and was particularly proud of his involvement with the restoration of both the St. Mary`s Cathedral Glebe House and the Public Garden`s Bandstand. He is survived by his wife, Jackie, daughter Erin, mother Channie, brothers Paul (Karen) and Mark (Susan), nieces Kelly Muise (Jeremy) and Megan Vincent, nephews Josh, Cory and Jake Vincent, a great-nephew and great-niece. He was the “go to” guy to his extended family mother-in-law Eleanor Morrissey, father-in-law Bill Morrissey, sisters-in-law Pam Watts (Tom), Wendy Tobin (Tom), Sue Morrissey (Keith McDonald) and Dawn Morrissey, brothers-in-law Dave Morrissey (Denise), Robert Morrissey and Todd Morrissey. Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. At Peter`s request there will be no visitation or service.
