Deryk, Reg and Vivian, I don't even know what to say to you as there aren't any words that seem to fit the loss of Racael. That's not even right because she'll always be around in everyone's heart and memories. I am thinking of you all, but I can't even imagine what you're feeling and going through. Rachael and I were connected on facebook and I love seeing her smiling face. My heart goes out to Rory as well, he sure seemed to make her happy.  I will never forget Rachael and I will treasure the photos and memories I have of her.  Sue Wright.

I had the opportunity to work with Racheal at Tim Hortons on Waverley Rd. for a few years..we became close friends..she even taught me how to drive 5 years ago..we had a lot of great times together and a lot of laughs..she had a very special place in my heart and always will..my heart goes out to your whole family..this is a very sad time but I will never forget u my friend..love u always xo

My very deepest condolences to Racheal's family and friends,
I was Racheal's communications teacher at NSCC a few years ago. She was one of the sweetest, kindest, and most gentle people I have yet to meet. She would greet me every day in class with a big genuine smile filled with love and warmth, and she extended that to everyone around her. She had a terrible car accident that year and wasn't able to attend classes for her last few months. She, nevertheless, still came in to see me afterwards (in a wheelchair) to touch base and worked so hard to get everything done in order to graduate that year. There was no stopping her! She was so determined and bright and full of potential. She managed to get everything completed and was able to attend her graduation ceremony at the Rebecca Cohn auditorium. She crossed the stage on crutches, and it was such a proud moment for her and all her faculty and friends. We had kept in touch since then, and there are no words to explain the pain I felt when I heard of her passing. She was a beautiful, bright light in this world who touched so many people with love and kindness. She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit and soul will live on. And what a beautiful one! Although i hadn't the chance to meet Racheal, i think it's safe to say she made a special impact on those she crossed paths with each and everyday! she was a special person to so many and will be missed deeply...

I only recently got to know Racheal in our training classes for Stock Transportation. Although we only knew her briefly she had a very positive influence on the whole class.
