A finer man and gentleman I've not met.

Although my time with Ralph was short. It was meaningful, special, and he really brought a new definition to style and grace rarely seen in today's world.

Loved his wife beyond description, and took every opportunity in his life to show charity and compassion to the world around him in so many ways.

Although I miss Ralph in so many ways daily, I will miss him even more from today forward in the thought that I won't ever get a chance to sit on the couch and just shoot the breeze about all the worldly things he was so infamous for pulling out of his hat.

To Claire, Heather, Casey, Devon..... Shari. I have no words that would comfort you or make any of this easier. I wish in some ways, it that I could be there and make some of it better.. I did what I could. My hopes for all of you is that you're able to find a peace in knowing that a finer man there's never been. He lived a good life and played a full time game here he was a true competitor.. and will always be remembered, and thought of daily here... in my world.

Claire, Pearl & I extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family on your great loss of a great husband and father. We've known Ralph since way back when we all lived in New Glasgow. It was also there that I had the pleasure of working with Ralph on his first political campaign when he ran, and won, as the liberal candidate! I remember well the times we travelled between New Glasgow and Halifax during that campaign and the conversations we shared. Ralph was one of a few that I, and many like me, admired and looked up to! Ralph, all I can say now is "God Bless! Rest in Peace!"
