Robert Allen Constable

We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear brother Robert (Bob) Allan Constable August 5, 1956, on 24 January, 2024, at Parkstone Enhanced Care Home with his sisters at his side. He was a devoted Jehovah's Witness and dearly loved his church family. He was a kind and gentle soul who enjoyed his music, going for walks and debating with his friends. In his younger years Bob loved to spend a whole day in the woods fishing and enjoying nature When he was feeling healthier he could be spotted all over Halifax with his earphones on and singing his heart out.

Bob loved little children and was a great uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He had many occupations in his work life but his longest and last employment was as a night cleaner at Walmart. Every morning when Bob returned home from work before laying his head down to sleep he called Mom to check in on her. At least once a week he would take 3 Halifax Transit Buses to visit Mom and they'd play games and catch up. When Bob was finally accepted into long term care he donated all his belongings to a needy family. Bob will be remembered fondly by all those who had the pleasure of meeting him.

A memorial service for Bob will be held on February 17, 2024 at 2:00 in Kingdom Hall in Lower Sackville.
