Rolla Bessie Dickie

DICKIE, ROLLA BESSIE age 94 of Halifax, passed away March 23 at the North Queens Nursing Home in Caledonia. Born February 24, 1928, in Lower Meagher’s Grant, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of Gladys (MacMichael) and Earnest Sibley. Predeceased by her husband Robert Luther Dickie; brothers Garnet, Elmer, Vernon (Bud) and Blanchard (died in infancy); sisters Helen MacIsaac, Freda Hare, Edith Holland and Beatrice Weaver. She is survived by her sons Stuart (Cheryl) Dickie and Robert (Lisa) Dickie; grandchildren Shawn, Brent, Matthew and Sarah; great grandchildren Brian, Gracin and Camden. Visitation Tuesday March 29 from 2-4 and 6-8 at JA Snow Funeral Home, Halifax. Funeral service 2:00pm, Wednesday March 30 also at JA Snow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society.
