Ronald George "Ace" Adams

Ron started work at an early age at CN Rail, and then joined the Halifax Fire Department in 1958. After 35 years of service, he retired in 1993. For 32 years, Ron and his wife, Audrey, enjoyed spending time at their cottage in Malagash, NS, where he enjoyed golfing at Northumberland Links. They also enjoyed the last 20 years wintering in Clearwater, FL, Ron was a hardworking, devoted father, grandfather and husband, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren, Brody and Ryan.

Survived by his wife of 57 years, Audrey (Kendall); daughter, Kim (Carl); son, Ron (Bonnie) and their children Brody and Ryan; sisters, Sheila (Bill) Bernadette and Patsy. Predeceased by sisters, Irene and Delores; brother, Jack; granddaughter, Hilary Elizabeth.

Arrangements have been entrusted to J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (455-0531). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6 at 2:00 pm at St. Ignatius Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nova Scotia SPCA or the IWK.
