Ronald Louis Anderson

Born in Broadview, Saskatchewan on October 6, 1938 to Burt and Mary (Meyers) Anderson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene, and their daughters, Stacey (David Doyle); Heather Anderson; Laura (Philip Mannering). Granddaughters, Lauren, Paige, and Sophie. And family from Western Canada, Karen, Brenda, and Lori.

He worked for many years with CIBC, holding positions in branches across Canada and in the Bahamas. After retirement he worked briefly for Stats Canada. Ron was a proud founding member of The Bedford Uisge Beatha Society and was a connoisseur of Scotch whisky. The Bedford-Sackville Rotary Club benefited from his voluntary work as did the Bedford Brookside Cemetery where he held the role of treasurer. When he wasn’t watching the Toronto Blue Jays he could be found playing bridge with friends or socializing around the Bedford waterfront sharing his humour and friendly chat along the way. Travels around the world with close friends and family kept him busy in recent years.

Celebration Of Life will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax. Drop in from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 18, 2017.
