Roy W. Levy

Roy William Levy – age 75, of Halifax NS passed away peacefully at Parkland Estates on Sept. 24, 2011. Born in Halifax NS he was the son of Mary (Corkum) and Lester Levy. He was a respected business man and developer in the Halifax area. He had a love of music and played the banjo, harmonica and flute. Dad was an honourable man who deeply loved his family. Of the “old school”, he respected hard work and a job well done. He was predeceased by wives, Marlene Levy and Jean Harper. He is survived by daughters, Lisa(Phil), Halifax and Lynn(Doug), California, sons Darren(Heather), Halifax and Randy, Halifax, sister Eileen Kedy and brother Kenny Levy, many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Memorial service, Wed. Sept. 28, 2011 at 2pm in JA Snow Funeral Home Chapel, 339 Lacewood Dr. Hfx NS(455-0531) lay chaplain Jim Norton officiating. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the NS Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
