To Joey, Velda, Debby and Family. I just heard of Your Mom’s passing So Sorry For Your Lost. Your Mom was a Very Special Lady to me even though it’s been about 46 plus years ago I have thought of Her and You to the days back when. I remember so many of us kids that went to your place just to hang out it seemed the more kids the Merrier for Your Mom. I also kept and used her recipe she gave me for mock devilled ham sandwiches and Fondly Remember back to those Days. Heaven is Getting a Special Angel. Please take Good Care of Each Other. Would Live to Hear from You sometime when you get a Chance To Catch Up. Dee Sullivan.

My condolances to all in the family. I'm so glad that i had the opportunity to meet Aunt Ruth one last time last December at Babs celebration. It was a good feeling to hug and kiss her. Thank you Velda for bringing her. I have closed my eyes on a number of occasions and a flood of memories passed before me of all the times that the John and Pennell families lived close by and we would visit, have laughts and cries. Many fond memories off all my cousins. Rest in peace Aunt Ruth.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all on the passing of your mom. Your mom was a very special lady and will be sadly missed by so many. One of the fondest memories I have of your mom is how she made the baby sets complete with hats, sweaters and matching booties. She made me one for each of my girls and I always loved them. This is a lost art today. You will be hard pressed to find someone to make one these days and the younger generation has lost the appreciation for the beautiful craftsmanship that goes into making these. I can only imagine how many baby sets she made in her lifetime but I am sure they numbered in the 100's! Hugs.

Dear Debbie,
Always enjoyed seeing both your mother and you walking into chapel Sunday mornings. Ruth always looked nice, greeted me with a friendly word or two, and left me feeling encouraged. You did, too, Debbie. She will be greatly missed by the family. She was special.
With love,

My heartfelt condolences on Aunt Ruth's passing. I hope you all find solace and peace in knowing what an incredible person she was and how she touched those who knew her. She held a special place in my mother's heart and mine. As a young boy, I always told Aunt Ruth I was going to show up someday and take her for a hamburger. Although it was humourous banter we shared, I wish I had made it reality. Perhaps, we will grab that burger together someday still.
