Ruth Adele Pritchard

Born in Halifax, N.S., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Fisher. Mom made sure her children all had an education. Her life goals included keeping her family together, so she could be our role model. She was a gentle mother and friend. She was a humble soul whose world consisted of her children including Teddy and Nelson. She is survived by her nine children: Maureen, Vickie (Lorne Hayter), David (Geri) Pritchard, Rosalie (Walter Walsh), Stephanie (Larry Williams), Karen (Mark Savory), Kathy (Arthur Davies), Robin (Pat Shand), and Julie; sister Rose Jenkins; sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. As well as her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her husband Murray Pritchard; sisters Aileen and Toni and brother Robert. Visitation will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902) 455-0531 on Sunday, February 26 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel Monday, February 27 at 1:00 pm.
