In her younger years, she worked at MacGillivary Guest Home. She later worked at Sackville Sports Stadium as housekeeping staff and then finished her working career at Halifax City Hall. Sandra loved spending time with her boys and their families.
She is survived by her sons, Scott (Clare), Troy, Mark (Nichole); sisters, Genevieve (John) Melbourne, Nancy, Marilyn (Stewart) MacAulay; brothers, Harold, Bob (Mary); and grandsons, Dawson and Hunter, who brought so much joy and fun to her life. She was predeceased by her brother, Leo.
Cremation will take place under the care of J.A. Snow Funeral Home. In keeping with Sandra’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place at a later date in Cape Breton.
